4 models are available for Single Coil pickups between 6k and 10k ohms resistance. These are also well suited for lower impedance humbuckers under 8k ohms. A brief description and audio samples can be found below. Each knob below links to several sound clips - just click on the highlighted numbers. These clips were recorded with a new Fender American Standard Stratocaster through a Marshall JCM2000 Clean channel, and the distorted tones were created with a Behringer V-Amp digital modeler, both recorded direct. No processing whatsoever was used other than the amp simulation and no settings were changed other than the tone dial on the guitar between sounds. All samples are of the bridge pickup unless specified otherwise. For BASS see "JB Scoop" at the page bottom. Metallic Blue A more resonant filter that excels at aggresive playing styles: from drop-tuning to blues, high gain to crunch or clean. The clean tones are optimized at settings of "4" or higher on the tone dial. Below "3" and filter saturation begins. Play it hard!
Piezo Acoustic As the name states, this pack causes your pickup to sound like a "piezo", with a very wide, sparkly sound. It complements any pickup position. On the traditional bridge pickup it sounds very much like a bridge mounted piezo system.
Country Clean This pack imparts a tonal quality similar to the Piezo Acoustic model but retains more of the mid-range tones. When rolled off lightly (between 6 and 8) it imparts a "Tele'" quality to a Strat bridge pickup and is great for country style rhythm playing and licks.
JB Scoop A mid-scoop REACTOR for Basses with single coil pickups under 10k ohms. This pack gives a rich, traditional scooped sound: Fat and tight with clean attack. Clips recorded using a Fender American Jazz Bass into a clean solid state preamp, EQ controls flat and recorded direct.
